Acastrexa is a company created by Paula Patiño, an Oruinda artisan and creator from A Coruña. After a career in the insurance sector, Paula discovered in 2015 her true vocation in the world of food and launched this venture by launching a sustainable network made up of organic producers in the area and her own workshop in Os Campóns.The initial objectives were to promote the local economy, make the healthiest foods known and develop a way of life according to their authentic motivations.
Within these motivations, shortly after embarking on this adventure, Paula discovered an artistic vein that she previously only reserved for her leisure time: the products of her land became an inexhaustible source of creativity, exploration of the senses and her work began to become an atelier of innovative recipes.Paula's concern and that of the first buyers who dared to open up a new universe of senses allowed Acastrexa to grow in Galicia, first, throughout Spain, later, and finally in different parts of the world. Currently Acastrexa has clients from origins as diverse as Japan, Germany or the United States, who look to Galician nature for the necessary inspiration to create their own recipes.Because in short, what better way to share art than with taste?Acastrexa's foods with more than products: they are suggestions to awaken the artist that we all carry inside.
